The door you fight with.
A sticking door, worn hardware, or an everyday fitting that makes a simple task harder than it needs to be.
Sometimes the repair is the easy part.
Asking for help is harder.
A rough stretch. An unexpected bill. More on your plate than you can carry. When home repairs slip out of reach, a little practical help can take a whole lot off your mind.
Helping Hand is a way to ask about free or discounted home repairs when hardship makes the work difficult to afford. Start with what’s giving you trouble. We’ll discuss what might be possible.

Small repair and upkeep needs that keep getting pushed behind everything else life is asking of you.
You don’t need the technical name for it. Tell us what happens, where it happens, and what would make the day a little easier.
Examples to start a conversation—not a promise of coverage. We review the work, location, and available time, materials, and resources before agreeing to help.
Tell us what needs attention and what help would make it manageable. A short explanation is enough to start; you don’t need to put your whole life into a form.
Requesting help does not commit you to paid work. Any proposed costs are discussed before scheduling. Receiving help does not require agreeing to photos or publicity.
We review the request, talk through the need, and check what time, skills, and materials are available. Assistance and timing depend on those resources and are not guaranteed.
If you rent, we’ll discuss any owner or property-manager permission needed. Asking for a neighbor or family member? Please get their permission before sharing their details.
